So I got this game on the 360 and boy oh boy do I love it. Its got everything. Stages from SEGA titles: Sonic,HOTD, Super monkey ball, JGR.. etc etc..Graphics are sweet.. This game makes mario kart wii look extremely last gen... there are loads of characters to unlock- ryo,knuckles,Hotd,crazy taxi,banjo. There are over 20 stages. The game does have a lil bit of slowdown in certain parts but nothing that detracts from the overall experience. You can win races, grandprix's unlock characters, stages, music. Its all well done.Special mention: Samba De amigo stage and The casino Sonic stage.

Im not gonna give a list of all the characters or extras coz you can easily google all that info. Suffice to say the gameplay is tight, drifiting is fun and the difficulty can be challenging. It is a mario kart rip off but thats a good thing considering it is prolly the best kart game out there.

I highly recommend you purcahse this title- coz its so satisfying. And fun.

yeah what i don't like about this game is that too many Sonic characters, i would do to more Sega characters and fan favourites, say Vyse and Aika (riding a airship ) or Welkin Gunther riding the edelweiss , or Kazuma on a.... something.

well there are loads of Sega characters and they pick some crappy sonic ones like that blue fat guy (don't care/dont remember his name)

This is actually one of my most anticipated titles for the year, because I really think this Mario Kart clone might work.

I think the character roster is pretty balanced..The only characters that would been awesome add ons would be
shinobi
nights( no idea as to why this one is missing)
SOR- alex, blaze, max
Altered beast

But we got chu chu's, Ryo and akira.. so its not bad either..

Having played the demo, I feel that Mario Kart has tighter control and gameplay in general but Sonic Racing is less about luck than Mario Kart is.

Also the OP says it makes Mario Kart look last gen then mentions character unlocks and over 20 tracks, Mario Kart has character unlocks and kart/bike unlocks as well as over 30 tracks on top of the battle courses.

Yes.. "Looks".. translation :>visually :).. The game does look last gen compared to ALL stars.

I'm actually considering getting this game. I wanna see some online play, and some of the tracks from later in the game.

I have also read reviews that the game is good. It may not completely surpass Mario Kart Wii, but it is good in its own right.

If interested, you should probably buy it.
