What ever happened to "Board the Platforms!"?

It was my favorite bonus game in Super Smash Brothers and they didn't put it in Melee or Brawl. Why?

They kept break the targets but not board the platforms. =[

anybody else a big fan of Board the Platforms?

Wow, I don't even remember that.

The establishment doesn't want us to remember it

Nintendo probably felt it was too easy................or the new characters just wouldn't be able to do that. We may never know the real reason.

I saw it prior to playing Melee, and I always wondered why the challenge isn't in the game...

I don't see a reason to to include it...

I thoguht of that too, but characters like Meta Knight and Pit would have too easy a go of it

In some ways, the game kind of feels like something they came up with due to the limitations of the N64. Same with 'Break the targets', however you can still manipulate that game to produce some challenge which is why they have kept it in (though I don't like how all of the levels are the same in Brawl).

I liked Board the Platforms as well, but it didn't really provide much in the way of a challenge after you memorized the pattern, nor did it show off the consoles features. Both of which Melee and Brawl were trying to do. Its literally just jumping on platforms.

Yeah, I also found board the platforms more enjoyable and less frustrating than the break the targets, and yet they kept the latter and axed the superior game! Damn you Nintendo!

Come to think of it, I never even finished the subspace emissary missions. I should really go back and finish that one of these days. I spent so much time with the online I kinda forgot about it.

looks really cool, i wish they HAD put it in, but with all the content in brawl it's not really THAT big of a deal
