Sad how so many people buy into Apple's marketing. You'd think people would be smarter than take it up the rear from a company whose entire strategy revolves around total monopolization and limiting what you can do with their products to their own profit.

There might be various reasons to this:

- Having an Apple product, be it an iPod, Mac, iPhone, etc., gives you some kind of perceived status in the society.

- Apple is usually seen as the brand of choice of digital artists, for some reason.

- Some people put aesthetics over performance, value, and price.

- The GUI is seen as the most ergonomic in the market.

- They actually like Apple.
