One of the things I like doing on this site is checking out the banned users lists, and laughing at their ban posts.  Most guys seem to be banned for hurting another console users feelings etc.  Seems like all people really wish they could do is slam x game, or x console, or whatever.  Maybe there should be a designated thread or whatever where guys can get that out of their system and argue the crazy topics (wii graphics, xbox live fee, sony blu ray) and get as crazy as they want. 

It'd prolly end up being really funny, plus the other threads might calm down a bit.

Is this a good idea, or a bad idea?

This reminds me of the "Drunk Driving Lane" idea. I figure it would have about the same results too, lots of damage.

One of the things that makes this place more readable than many other forums is that we take trolls back outside the shed and then ban the Hell out of them. Why would we want to give them some place to frolic and froth when we can jsut throw them out?
