Ok i have a PS3 and It's collecting dust atm.

I'm looking at GoW3 and I'm thinking yea this looks cool but i have a couple of questions.

First, and MOST important, is this thing all quick time events? QTE are the worst thing in video games, after over done cut sceens, for me anyways. So is this game mostly QTE? I know there in there but I will over look them if there not most of the game.

Second. Do I need to play GoW1 and 2 before 3?

Ok I guess I only had 2 questions lol. Not too bad. The game looks awesome and I would like a reason to play my PS3 becides Demon's Souls. But again too many QTE is a killer for me so any info would be great. Thanks.

have you ever heard about Uncharted2, R&C : ACIT, Heavy Rain, etc, 'cause if your PS3 is collecting dust and you don't like these games, I'm wondering why you bought a PS3.

Anyway, I agree with you all, GOW3 is Epic, and it's looking more than fantastic, the best graphics I have ever seen !  Can't wait. 17th comes to me.

Oh lord here we go with this shit. I got a PS3 for games like Demon's souls and GTA IV. Among others. But I don't want games like UC2 or Heavy Rain at all. These 2 games specificly suck balls IMHO. Um haven't looked into R&C though don't seem like my sort of game to be honest.

I would LOVE, and i mean LOVE to get MAG but im not playing a FPS with dual analog. God I wish that was on PC.

Mod NATION Racers is somthing im ganna look into though. To be honest there are a few PS3 games i would have bought already but I have SOOOO many games to get on pc and Wii its just a case of not enough money and time to go around. OH also I will be playing FF 14 online but on PC...=0)...OH and not that Infamous is down to $40 I gatta get that.

So yea a little defence of sorts about my PS3. I guess its just too many games to get atm, but thats a nice problem to have.

So you're mainly a PC + Wii gamer?

Hmmmm. I don't usually think of it like that. But yea i guess i am. Please don't hold it against me =).

But a few months ago I was looking for an HD system to compliment my Wii. I was leaning twords the 360 but the $100 wireless adapter + $50  year for LIVE tuned me off bigtime, especuially when i look at the fact I been enjoying Steam for years now for free. So I also looked at the games, and I believe that MS has hurt themselves badly here, because I can get a lot of the great 360 games on PC, FO 3 and ME2 being the biggest 2 for me. So with all that i went with PS3.

I love the PS3 for its PSN stuff and netflix is awesome, not to mention the BlueRay. My main point is UC2 and HR are not the only reasons to own a PS3 and to say if I dont want thoes games people wounder why I have a PS3. The PS3 has lots of other cool games to offer that have nothing to do with the UC2's and HR's of the world.

After getting some key questions answered here I have come to the conclusion that GoW3 is going to be my next PS3 game and im very much looking forward to it.
