I really hope for yes and yes. I enjoyed the demo so much, I hope they atleast advertise this in the olympics...

I don't think it can pull the 1 million first week, specially since the japanese launch was conservative. I think 500K first week WW is in the margin of reality.

HR is an already a contender for game of the year, and more importantly a great adition to the PS3 library which as whole (now with more variety appeal thanks to HR) can entice people to buy more PS3s this year. However, HR's launch won't have an impact on hardware sales for the week since the hardware has been pretty scarce everywhere.

1 million? First week?

Did Uncharted 2 or Killzone 2 even do that? I'm not sure, but I'll check.

Edit - Uncharted 2 only did 800,000 first week and Killzone 2 only did 756,000.

No and most probably no due to shortages.

It certainly won't sell a million first week, that's way over optimistic.

Will it sell a single system? Yes, and some people will call it a system seller because of it.

Will it be a "system seller"/ killer app / momentum pusher? No.

450K WW at most.

I can see the game selling a million if there is as much buzz around it in real life as there is on the internet (i am certainly doing my part to make it so), and if word of mouth spreads like wild fire.
As for system sell, I don't see it being a system sell in the first week but I do see people buying PS3's for this game, once again, if real life buzz even gets close to matching internet Buzz.
