funny how µI needed some time to understand if it was sarcasm or the game was really good

... so this is the Heavy Rain killer, right ?

lol...this is a survival horror shooter mixed with GTA sandbox. Has nothign to do with Heavy Rain...

We all know Heavy Rain is much much better...but I am pretty sure that cutscene alone is funnier than anything in heavy rain. Sometimes people just want to laugh.

yaya I was joking

neverthless, I still dont know what to think about this cutscene ...

That vid made me laugh. I may rent this game because it looks so damn cheesy it's funny.

I like Destructoid and all, but I think I'm going to trust IGN on this one.

IGN has the tendancy to give out high reviews left right and center and then totally rip in to a game that doesn't fit the current gaming trends to earn some of its credibility back.

They couldn't hve picked an easier target...no name studio, budget title no one knows, low budget production. They can't pull their advertising $$$ of IGN...cause they prolly don't have any.

Im not saying that the game is good...just that I don't think either reviews should be considered as the "right" review.

Elaborate with a few examples, please

Afters seeing that video.. I want to play this game.

SERIOUSLY.

Few examples I remember are Sonic Unleashed, Alone int he Dark...hell even Earth Defense force 2017. Obviously flawed games...but they are not as bad as IGN claims they are. And most of all, they introduce some original concepts.

Not to mention that they were sandwiched between some monumental releases which got near flawless IGN reviews...giving a game that deserves a 6, a score of 3.5 gives your site/magazine some needed credibility when you keep handing perfect 10s and 9s based on name and production values alone. COD, GH in the name? - 8.5 guaranteed.

COD3 is a terrible game that brings not a single new idea to the table...it doesn't matter to IGN. 8.8!!!!!

at least they tried

Finally, a reviewer who understands this game isn't suppose to stand next to other high budget titles and should be judged on its own merit. Also, has any 360 game debuted at the $19.99 price point before? At least one that was original and not licensed anyway...

To be fair, IGN said the plot was almost good enough to make it worth suffering the rest of the game.

what the hell is that music

nintendo fanboy, but the good kind

proud soldier of nintopia

(I really don't like Jim Sterling. Most of his articles are stupid, pointless and not funny. He has a bad sense of humour if you ask me)

OT: I know the guy is sarcastic when he's saying it's a good game but I actually liked what I saw in that video. It's definitely not worth a 2/10 based on that video. And the music was cool.
