Do not buy this game. Do not rent this game, do not look at this game on the shelf, don’t even think about this game lest someone at Ubisoft find out and they prep a Just Dance 2. Such would be the end of all things, mark my words.

I thought that's funny.

It should be worst game ever to sell 5 million copies when all is said and done. I'm glad a third party publisher has finally figured out the recipe for success on Wii.

It's one of the best party games you can find in any console, especially if women and alcohol are in the mix.

ROFL  awesomeness! You know what would be hilarious though? Well messed up also. Imagine a game from ANY console that gets super hyped on this site, then all of a sudden the first review that comes in says something like that LOL. I would just love to see the meltdowns hehe. At least people can be satisfied that this is just some quick cash-in shovelware that most people won't care for.

Make games, not war (that goes for ridiculous fanboys)

I may be the next Maelstorm or not, you be the judge http://videogamesgrow.blogspot.com/  hopefully I can be more of an asset than a fanboy to VGC hehe.

Making games that people play is probably more profitable than making games that critics play, unless they buy a million copies each after reviewing a 9.0+

Don't understand IGN's reasoning here. It looks to be a fun change from the typical Guitar Hero games and all that. Those are "hit the button at the right time" and those games are apparently awesome.

This is "do the dance" (which basically is "mimick the move at the right time") and this sucks? I've seen someone play it and it seemed hilarious

they didnt like it then?

all this shows is that critics are REALLY out of touch with the casual gamer. Look at the IGN comment, fact is IGN that many people really enjoy this game and it is largely selling by word of mouth and first hand experience at this point. It is a FUN game, it is a social game, it is a game where the people watching are more important than the people that are playing. Critics just don't get it, the game does exactly what it intends to do. The commericals just showed people playing the game, not highlighting the game itself because the highlight of the game is you not the game itself.

currently playing: Skyward Sword, Mario Sunshine, Xenoblade Chronicles X

Critical success != game quality and certainly != commercial success.

Yet there will be so many people come in and post saying this means Wii owners are stupid and don't know what a good game is. Personally I think it means the critics are stupid if they couldn't identify a game that would be well enjoyed. It's not their job to review games for themselves, after all, and if they think it's smart to review games for only a declining segment of the market, well then don't be surprised as their sites continue to decline.

A game I'm developing with some friends:

It is largely a technical exercise but feedback is appreciated.
