My vote goes to Gears of War... Played the first one on my Pc,felt it was something out of this world (and it is,Sci-Fi and all that) so that made me buy a 360.

I bought it for JRPGs in general (Lost Odyssey, Eternal Sonata, and Blue Dragon were the only ones of note released this generation at the time). Lost Odyssey was excellent, Eternal Sonata was good, Blue Dragon was ok, but then I played Mass Effect and discovered there's no better reason to own the console than it.
