I'd say the 360 controller but it's far from perfect because of the absolutely wretched d-pad and face buttons that are inferior to the DS3. The size and stick placement are perfect, though. Also, the concave triggers are WAY better than those horrible convex DS3 triggers, especially for racing games.

um you dont have a wire hooked to the ps3 all the time...

The battery last years and years,people that got the ps3 at launch are still using the same battery to this day

360 Shape, triggers and stick placement
PS Buttons
Nintendo DPad
Would be my perfect controller. I liked aspects of the Mega Drive and Gamecube controller but its been too long since I played with one.

Of whats available I prefer the 360 pad purely because of the awful DS3 triggers that make racers unplayable to me. Thank God shooters use R1 and L1.
