N64 for me. Super comfortable no matter how you hold it. Plus the analog stick and rumble were game changer for consoles.

NES is by far the worst. It looks cool and retro is awesome but that thing is painful if you play for more than an hour at a time.

Wiimote-Nunchuck because of the innovations. Second the N64, I don't understand why it's so hated. The control was great, 6 buttons in front was really useful in fighting, sports, even FPS games. The only bad thing was the Stick, which was very precise but very fragile too.

The Gamecube controller was very comfortable, but the pad was very small, so no fighting games could be played with it, except using the stick or if you were 5 years old.

1. Wiimote
2. N64
3. Gamecube
4. Snes
5. Nes

Easily the GameCube pad.

Super NES without a doubt, the best of its age (like the NES controller was the best of its age). N64's is strange as hell. GC's is not bad, but analogs don't click and it has 3 less buttons than its competitors. Wii's, well, what can i say, i'm a old school gamer, i didn't like its innovation (and that's why i don't have a Wii).

ill go nes because it revolutionized gameplay... oh and i love the picture, funny as hell lol

I actually loved the N64 one especially having the "Z" button on the underside of the controller perfect place for it with the analog stick.

If it isn't turnbased it isn't worth playing   (mostly)

I Love the Wii mote. It adds a lot of ease and fun to games like Okami. I also love the fact that you can hook many different remotes up to it (depending on game). To me it fills all in one. 2nd pick would be the SNES one. It fits very well in my hands and buttons are easy to hit.

It's hard to say, honestly the NES controller is the most famous I'd say, but the damn thing hurts your hand after a while. SNES I spent a lot of time with that little buddy and it still brings a tear to my eye holding it (or by design the Classic Controller) and playing some SNES games. The N64 controller was odd at first but when I started playing some games it worked really well and felt natural, on the flip side GC felt natural from day one but sometimes games didn't take advantage of it as much.

The Wii controller is probably the most natural and versatile... plus the advantage of a number of options to play a game... it's hard not to pick it, the others would be picked because of nostalgia but I gotta say the Wii remote can be as complex (able to attach classic controller) or simple (Wii remote on its side) as you need it to be and increase accuracy (FPS) or fun (Wii Sports) with games.

Gamecube always sat well in my hands. I have yet to get the new classic controller to compare.
