even though majority have said RE5 is the a disappointment, yet it sill sold well, but in reality RE5 gave the impression to most gamers "the what the f**k look"

Most liked: RE4. No more shitty controls! Huzzah!

Most hated: Code Veronica. The game tricked me into entering the last boss fight with a pistol and virtually no ammo and I didn't have another save to backtrack and fix it. Laaaaaaaaaaammmeee.

RE3 was pretty freakin' weak as well. In fact, I didn't like any of the games once I played Silent Hill and saw that Japanese companies were capable of making 3D horror games without nerfed controls to make it exceedingly difficult.

i haven't played any of the remakes, but 2 and 3 are close runners up to favourite

I could aim. That was enough for me to beat the game without getting pissed off.

But yes, the controls were still pretty shoddy in the early games. I absolutely HATED the early Resident Evil controls, every bit of them. They made no sense on any level.

since you got a WII you can get RE remake archive and RE zero archive they r both direct ports from the GC

I think that Code: Veronica is underappreciated. It was fun, and it had a great storyline.

oh, I also hate umbrella chronicles. It was boring and cheap, and the pointer wasn't very accurate. I was expecting something great, and it ended up being a big let down. I haven't played the other on-rail RE's for the Wii though. And code Veronica wasn't bad
