Forums - Nintendo Discussion - No more heroes 2 being advertised?

How about they fucking advertise it on normal TV and maybe have a couple posters hanging around downtown.

God such dumb companies.

By life end:

  • Wii- 100 million+
  • Xbox360- 35~40 million
  • PS3- 30 million
  • PSP- 30~32 million ------------- FAILURE
  • NDS- 85~90 million (Skeptical)  - FAILURE
  • NDS- 100 million+ (Optimistic) -- Success!

It's about money. Advertisement does not allways equal sales, so spreading the word about the game in different kind of ways can be a good thing.

i just know too many people outside this website who cares about NMH to some extent dont even know its out already!and its one of the best games this year!!

Good, maybe more people will buy it.

It's targeted marketing. The game is too small to do mass market ads on mainstream TV, so they are trying to advertise more efficiently by targeting the people they think are most open to buying the game.

A game I'm developing with some friends:

It is largely a technical exercise but feedback is appreciated.

Suda made a mistake leaving No more heroes to ubisoft... I love nmh so I hope this would help a little bit, but again, knowing that 400000 people bought the first game, they could actually tried something bigger to expand the name of the game...

Nmh es excelente y se merece que se le reconozca...

Honestly, Ubisoft's probably the better alternative. Otherwise they'd end up with someone like Atlus or XSeed, fine companies, but they can't advertise for shit.

Actually, Atlus does come up with some fun promotional gags, but they're still no good for traditional advertising.

Monster Hunter: pissing me off since 2010.

Well, there was also some short lived web adds on Metacritic and IGN i think. They didnt last longer than a week.
