OPM UK in't very generous with God of War games anyway so a 9/10 is great.
2010 Hardware Sales Predictions
Wii: 20m- Sales will drop, but not by much.
PS3: 13.5m- It sold 12m in 2009, its only common sense it will sell more this year.
Xbox 360: 11m- It sold 11m in 2008 and 2009, I think it will sell the same.

Why do you have to make excuses to defend a product that you purchased, but that's the only connection you have to it, you don't make it, you don't lose or gain money on it. I don't see where all of the defensiveness comes in, there is no reason for you or anybody else to feel obligated to defend it. Now I would understand if one of you were a developer for the product and you slaved over said product only to hear somebody call it stupid or a piece of junk. But none of you developed it, none of you are mature enough to realize that. Choosing a product all comes down to preference, you chose said product because it is best for you. Simple as that!

This is actually very good. This magazine gave Gow 1 a 6 ( the lowest score on Metacritic). They gave Gow 2 a 8 ( the third lowest score on Metacritic). According to them, this game is better than the first two (THAT'S GOOD). This score is probably going to be one of the lower scores ( like gow 1 & 2). You can probably expect a 95-100 on metacritic. I'm so hyped.
By the way, they gave it a 9 because it had the same core gameplay as the previous God of War titles. I guess that's bad news for everyone who wanted an experience different from the first two. As for me, I want the same experience I experienced the first time: COMPLETE AWESOMENESS.

Inches away from a 10/10 is not 9/10. There are just too many games out to use a 10 point scale anymore.
They said it lost a point because it was too familiar. Was that the only con of the game. If so it deserved a 10. This is the same magazine that gave Uncharted 2 and Modern Warfare 2 a 10. Weren't these game similar to the first game. I'm not saying they didn't deserve a 10 but wouldn't the same concept apply with them. I think this mag just dislikes god of war.
