earlier tonight i beat darksiders, it is my sleeper hit of the year so far. i know its early and all, but this game has everything going for it to win that honor i think. the graphics are very good, and shine all through the game. the controls are damn near perfect and u can execute your attacks and combo's with ease, u get 3 weapons through out the game to upgrade their attacks. u can also add a enchancement to them to gain new abilities. u of course get the better ones, near the end of the game. u get to ride war's horse ruin in the game, the controls while attacking using ruin are also flawless i think. u can auto-lock on your enemies in the game , like u do in zelda. the puzzles in the game are anywhere from mondane to pretty expansive in what u have too do. the story i found was very nicely done and the cutscenes where good through the game. the combo's u can pull off, are definitely close to that of gow. i put over 22hrs into my 1st playthrough of the game and wished i could keep going, cause i got so very addicited to the game. the ending was interesting and also left the door wide open for the sequel we learned about this past week. their is a good amount of stuff u can collect in your adventure in the game, ranging from artifacts to pieces of a weapon or of gear, like the abyssal armor. its a full set of gear u should get, it looks very cool on war i must say. some of the weapons and accessories are a knock of zelda like the abyssal chain and boomerang,throwing star weapon. i fully upgraded the sword weapon as i found it to be the most effective in killing your foes, the reaper though is a cool weapon too use later on, also u get this claw glove weapon ( the tremor gaunlet ). it does a smash to the ground attack, besides doing a regular smash to the face attack as well. overall i would glady recommend this game to anyone and i firmly believe its worth the full $60 price.  

i would give this game after beating it a  : 9.5/10

Fun game. Not sure its worth full price though. Haven't beaten it yet, and i dont regret getting it, but i cant recommened it unless you can get it slightly discounted.
