DSE is crazy scary, mostly becasue it's on rails, your character is constantly looking around, the camera is shaky, and you might notice something moving in the background but your character wont whhich just builds more tension

doom 3? seriously? i didnt find that game scary at all. pretty dull shooter tbh.

youre convincing me to buy it on the way home, sounds like the concept could be cool. i hated res evil umbrella chronicles, you made dse sound different though

code veronica has a nice scary feeling,,,,dead space ,fear doom etc are not very scary for a long time,,,at the other hand every single time i think about silent hill 2 by brain is twisting my heart
i havent played silent 1,3,4,sm but i believe/hope the last one is scaring as hell.

you wont be dissapointed, the game is a master of building tension and atmosphere.

Yes, Doom 3 has given me good Scares. and I played Silent Hill 2 last night. and it still scares the shit out of me

i just mean all doom has is 'jump out' scares, not a lot of innovation

sh 2 didnt scare me as much as it had an amazing sense of uneasiness, just the locations settings and music added up to brilliance. truly a great game still.

i LOVED remake, tbh it was the only scare RE for me

but the controls killed it, the fighting is so clunky that it ruins immersion (at least for me)

They should make an Uzumaki game Heavy Rain style.
