Seeing as we're all gamers, I don't really think this actually needs to be posted, but in case you all haven't heard of it before:
Every year (for the last few years) the Penny Arcade guys start up this charity called Child's Play. They collect money and toys, and donate (at least in years past) 100% of what they get to children's hospitals around the world. It's a really great charity, and showcases the best part of a population normally portrayed as rampaging kill-bots by the media. It's really heartwarming every year to see the entire community gather around and do something good for the world, and so I just thought I'd post this to make sure that anyone who might not know it exists can check it out and hopefully donate to it.
(also if ioi is reading... what about a little link underneath the "make a donation" button or something? just a thought...)
