The Grinder no longer Wii Exclusive, liikely be worst on Wii.

Wii 100 65.36%

X360 9 5.88%

PS3 23 15.03%

PC 21 13.73%

Total:153

News has already been posted elsewhere, so this will be a commentary.

HVS has always pledged that their "Conduit" was the best FPS experience on the Wii. While they tried, they failed, and with MW1 out and Red Steel 2 coming, it is nowhere near the best shooter on the wii. HVS recognizes this, and now they have made The Grinder multiplatform. They have been placed as the "Saviors" of Wii Hardcore gaming, and yet they are now playing a mutiny, and going aboard another ship. At this point, I seriously do not know their motives. Do they really want to support the Wii, or do they just want to become an HD developer, but afraid to complletely dash the Wii version? Either way, HVS will not be able to compete with more experienced game studios like Epic, Valve, or Insomniac. Face it, HVSl has never made a game that has an average rating of 80% or above, and this will likely not be it.

There are 3 likely scenarios:
1. HVS does not really care about the wii. They are making it a HD game, with a cheap wii cash in. They do not want to remove the Wii version for fear of abandoning the wii audience.Right now, the Lead is probably HD, then Wii. Wii will not likely get HD visuals, the highest resolution textures, the most effects, ANY of the DLC, nor the best version. The game will fail at retail, because it cannot compete with superior games.

2. HVS caved under pressure from publishers. No one wants to publish an M rated Wii game, so they were forced to make it multi. Perhaps they will claim to make it Multi, secretely work on the Wii Version only with the new finances, and then ditch the publisher after finishing the Wii version, making fo the best possible Wii Version.

3. HVS really thinks it can compete with the other developers, and make a great wii/HD title at the same time. They want this to be their breaktrhough.

Vote which system you will get the game for. If not getting, don't bother voting.

You forgot the "not getting it" option.

Also, if there's a VGChartz source available, use it. There's no reason to divert our hits to IGN.

and your thread is a repost, definetely the worse of the two

All hail the KING, Andrespetmonkey

Wii for sure, as it's releaseing in 2011 they might still put effort on wii version.

Buying in 2015: Captain toad: treasure tracker,

mario maker

new 3ds

yoshi woolly world

zelda U

majora's mask 3d

fair enough, though I guess this could be used as a poll. I really don't like the fact that the titles/polls cannot be edited.

The main version is for Wii, so of course they will put more effort into that.

I LOVE ICELAND!

They usually do... not this time, though.

I guess I'll try it on PC. But after The Conduit, I'm not expecting much from HW. They sort of promised way too much with that one.

I already expect the Wii fans to say the "superior controls" make it better.

Anyhow, looks like a mediocre shooter to me. But I'm curious to see how the HD versions will be improved visually.
