Ok, im updating the Wall for what is to probably be the final time. I have given this plenty of thought and regardless of how things further evolve i think my disappointment is irreversable.
I have been maltreated on these forums more than once and my words deturped into what they dont say to try and justify moderation action. As that wasnt enough, i have been directly insulted in these forums and despite reports nothing seems to befall the infractors (like you can see on the previous wall comments by sales2099).

As such i no longer feel confortable posting on these forums. The underlying console wars in both some posters heads and the moderators probably by extension make this place unsuitable for mature posting. Its a game i do not wish to play.

I would like to leave a special shoutout to my Vita bro's, the reason why i joined these boards. You guys rock and that thread is the most positive aspect of these forums.
Special mentions to all those that came to my wall except the aforementioned unwelcome visitor.

I will try to still lurk the thread from time to time, but i will be returning full time to my other forums, wich you are free to join me in, and i recommend it: the-magicbox forums (search on google). Its a really nice and old community and theres none of these underlying console fan wars, just opinions.

Thank you for the good times and all the best. :)

This is very disappointing. I know we were never friends here, but as I've told Kresnik, you himself and Conegamer are my favourite posters. Honestly, it's a real shame cause a lot of threads won't be the same without you. I don't like how moderation works either and have been several times personally insulted without anything happening to the people who constantly break the rules, but I like this community and especially the vita thread.

It's your choice. I just wanted you to know that you will be missed more than you'll ever know. I'm sure there are many people like me who appreciate users like you and will hate to see you go.

Hey! I used your pawn on Dragons dogma alot. I finished the game yesterday. If you still care you must have alot of points on her by now.

      x
Oh, cool. I haven't played Dark Arisen yet, so that will come in handy if/when I do. Thanks!

Hey! Just letting you know that after 60 hours i finished Dragon's dogma. It was pretty good. thumbs up for the recommendation. ;)
Hope they make a sequal with more character development and bigger world. I think Capcom has another good series here. I'm willing to sacrifice Devil May cry 5 for Dragons dogma 2. Would look amazing on the new consoles too.

The game has certainly flaws. Like backtracking. The game is huge on backtracking (unless you're playing Dark Arisen version, you're pretty much forced to run back everywhere. There's only one of those ferrycrystal transportation things during NG, which is horrible). Also, repetitive pawn dialogue (and the fact that you can't really define their behavior, despite the game giving you options to do so). Although they kinda cheered me up through long distances, when they were amazed at a tree or at the sea.

But that strange mix of RPG and Monster Hunter combat style really is something. Especially against bigger bosses. And the story, while at first is nothing beyond forgettable, turns out nicely in the end. I loved the ending, and how the game doesn't actually end when you kill Grigori (the dragon), but still carries through some more hours.

What can I say, it was a hidden gem for me. It kinda gave me faith again in Capcom. And since I'm not too fan of Devil may Cry, I'd say yes, I much prefer Dragon's Dogma 2 in glorious next-gen :D

There's also a Vita version coming, in case you're interested!

Yeah it has flaws, though i do have the dark arisen version and i did use some ferrystones, i still walked around alot. I didnt so much mind as the fights leveled my character and unlocked new class skills.
I really enjoyed the fights and the character progression systems. The scripted boss scenes like the Griffon and the dragon were nothing short of amazing!

Anyways yeah... a bigger world and a teleport system are must-have's on a possible sequal. This game has the potencial to become really big if Capcom plays their cards right.

Oh and i loved that bit after the dragon fight too. It was totally unexpected. They fool you thinking the game ended, but in fact it hasnt yet. There was some Nier inspiration to come still.

To be completely honest i wasnt a fan of the pawn system, but the system was very intertwined with the game. I would prefer actual party members with personalities that i can customise and failing that just beeing able to develop a full team of my own pawns.
I didnt like that they had fixed levels and forced you to change. I failed to see what the point of all of that was.
The Vita version i think is different. Some 2D game? I dont think i will enjoy it sadly.
