The fact that Uncharted 3 and Twisted Metal do not work on my specific 80GB PS3 SKU due to a firmware conflict, renders your entire argument moot. Arbitrary but solitary issues such as not being able to play a particular game will persist on all modern platforms that rely on any kind of software updates and have varying hardware(SKUs for consoles).
