I'm guilty of that sometimes, if the topic of the thread isn't interesting enough or if the OP is trolling/flame baiting. I enjoy an exchange of opinions and thoughts as much as the next guy and learning from other people's POV can be pretty rewarding, even if they prove you wrong.

Did you play all the different endings? The writing for spec ops was great. And yeah it didn't even get close to the sales it deserved. less than 600k on Ps360 combined with the likes of COD running over it ARGHH

I did not replay it but i got the ending where i shot conrad and was later "rescued" at the epilogue. I read about the different endings and I don't regret how i end it, assuming, they didn't all die in the helicopter crash and the last parts were a sort of limbo.
