Still trying yeah, haven't really gotten around to sitting down and actually playing it yet. Mostly been playing ME3/BF3 MP on 360 tbh, and had Witcher 2 to complete on top too!

Does the bear shit in the woods? It's a great game so far, nearing the end of the second chapter. Although there are quite a few fair amount of both visual and technical bugs to encounter.. Typical Polish developer trademark, although nowhere as many as there were on Metro 2033 and Ghost Recon!

I just got around to installing the enhanced edition today and I launched it up and started a new playthrough (I only got to the end of Chapter 1 during with my other save file). While I found improved performance and some new nifty uses of their tech, I did notice a lot of smaller bugs like hair bouncing all crazy and tons of texture flickering that wasn't present before. At least the bugs don't hinder the actual gameplay (as far as I've seen).

I had one occur to me, I was meant to deflect waves of enemies, naturally they came over.. Then they stopped. and I just stood there with my allies, doing nothing, for about 3 minutes I ran around trying to trigger it then realized it must have glitched. The worst glitch I've encountered so far, but the story + gameplay so far has been pretty good. Although using Quen it becomes a lot more easier, but some bits are ridiculously unbalanced, one time you're fighting two mobs, the others there are like 15 :\ And the Letho fight was ridiculously unbalanced, I had to go down to easy to finish it, after dying like 1283128 times!

Yeah, I had some trouble with Letho too but then I just started spamming him with Yrden and keeping my distance until he got trapped. It took quite some time but I beat him on Normal eventually. The game does seem easier this time around though. I'm at the end of the prologue and I haven't died yet (and I'm pretty sure I'm not all that great at this game yet - especially with kb + mouse as I was playing with the 360 controller before)

Funnily enough, I did not really die in combat until halfway through the first chapter, got rushed by a load of nekkars in a cave, which was unexpected. Quen is a beast ability, especially once upgraded! It's pretty good on the 360 so far too, although I've lost quite a lot of sidequests as I did the main quests first which means that some of the side quests in progress got cancelled. But I like the character progression and RPG elements of it so far, I think the second playthrough I'll use traps and bombs more, as well as stem into alchemy + abilities.
