I wouldn't assume that if I were you. It seems to me equally likely that the OP just posted a really dumb question....
flagship said: American English, however variants of British English used by India, Australia and all the rest of the British former colonies and protectorate is the most predominate. In short the important part is to learn a variant of English and adapt the to local environment when necessary. Indian English is no more a variant of British English than...
Kantor said: Sommernacht said: So all in all I would say that it's not really a black or white topic... No, not at all. It's a coloured topic. "Color" really ought to be pronounced "koh-lor", or "koh-ler", like "colon". Color/colour really ought to be spelled culr....

China does not speak British English....
I will point out that the difference between British and American spelling is only a very, very minor facet of the difference between British and American English as a whole....
Depends on if you count Indian English as being a variant of British English or its own dialect. I'd be inclined to treat it as its own dialect, since in terms of pronunciation and lexical/grammatical idiosyncracies it's at least as different from British English as American English is....
Got the game for $25 over Thanksgiving weekend, beat it a few days ago. Honestly its (lack of) performance seems in keeping with its quality from my point of view. Enslaved is a game that had a lot of potential but ended up being a disappointment for me. Until about halfway through it's one of the most beautiful games ever released, then the environments change and it looks ugly and awful. The...
But Sony isn't Nintendo. Their entire strategy is to try to appeal to people who don't just want the machine for gaming, but to people who want to be able to use it as a multimedia/productivity device and a gaming device at the same time. Look at DVD playback in the PS2 or Blu Ray playback in the PS3 or MP3/video capabilities in the PSP. Sony can't out-Nintendo Nintendo. They probably can't...
"Why would you buy a gaming device for email?" Where have you been for the last few years? Because it doesn't make sense to carry around two different devices when I could very easily carry around one that performs both of their functions. "Neither of which you need email for" Both of which you need a real keyboard for....
I'm really baffled by the touchpad on the back. Why not just give it a normal touchscreen display? Companies like Apple and Samsung don't seem to have any trouble producing HD-quality touchscreens for their smartphones - hell, neither does Sony Ericsson. This is a serious, almost crippling issue for me. If I can't use it as a replacement for an iPod Touch/iPad when it comes to email and the like...
I really don't understand why people criticize this game's graphics. The game itself looks tedious and awful, but the graphics are great....
In my experience, most gamers in the Arab world are playing pirated PS2 games. Only the very rich can afford PS3s and non-pirated games, and most of them speak English anyway. Still, I'm sure a fair number of them would prefer to play games in Arabic....
Well, Demon's Souls is really, really hard. I was going to temper that with a "but it's not so bad" statement, but thought better of it. It's really hard. If you can beat Demon's Souls you can beat any game on the market. And you CAN beat Demon's Souls. But you're going to have to do a lot of research and be extremely persistent....
It's bizarre how Square has managed to alienate some of the best talent in the goddamn industry. What would happen to a Konami CEO who treated Hideo Kojima this way....
I'm giving them one chance to revive the franchise with XV....
Hey Sensei: the Monumental is a seated, Buddha-like female statue. There are a lot of them in the upper levels of the Nexus, the one you want to talk to has a lit candle next to her. The dragon you're referring to is the one at the bridge at the beginning of world 1-2. In order to get past it you have to wait until it swoops down and then sprint across behind it as quickly as you can, but I would...
This is the best generation ever for gaming....
I remember being hopeful that the game would be fun once I got to Gran Pulse. And I convinced myself that it was, kind of, for a little while. But then I realized it wasn't really fun at all....
"XII, well the 30 hours I managed to play, was pretty easy. Gambits made the game boring as hell. The game usually played it self, minus the boss battles." I really don't understand the people who complain that gambits made XII boring. Just turn off the goddamn gambits!...
