I freelance for different sites and do PR stuff for a few as well. To draw any conclusion based on a week of stats is pointless. Site stats rise/fall on a regular basis, and with the new layout hitting late in the month, and it being the month before E3 when news and releases come to a freakin hault, it'll be hard for them to tell until a month or two go by. At least it loads now. I had ridiculously long load times on the old site. Splitting it up like this means I actually get to the content instead of getting pissed off and closing the window....
