Two can play at that game, I played, beat, and loved Mystery of the Emblem (the unlocalized DS Remake), and Katarina was a main character in that, and one of the best main female characters in all Fire Emblem games. So you know what?

Since I haven't played FF13, I dunno who that is, but FE has always focused on unique and evolving characters, so I wouldn't be surprised if the characters in Awakening are the most fleshed out. Still, very jealous, going to import FF6 and play that soon.

P.S. I hated the console Fire Emblems, Sacred Sword and FF8 were my favorites so far, but I really liked the mechanics of FF12 (which are present in FF13). I like having my own character, and being able to play in Casual mode (I play on hard, but casual, I think making 1 bad move shouldn't justify replaying the entire level again).

Mystery of the Emblem is the game where you play as Marth. It's the 3rd Fire Emblem game in the series, the first one for the SNES, and it was remade for the DS (much like how Shadow Dragon is a remake of the original Fire Emblem). This was the second DS Fire Emblem, and never localized, I beat the remake.

A lot of the features in this game were brought over to FE13 (Awakening). You played primarily as your own unique character, and you could play on casual difficulty (dead people come back).

BTE, why Lloyd, of all the Tales Characters? Is ToS:DotNW bad? I liked the first one a lot, and I own the second, but everyone is telling me to burn my game and not to subject myself to the horrors within.

Lloyd is my favorite character, I feel kind of identified with him. And well, I haven't played the second game but since you spent money to get it, at least you should try to know by yourself if it's really so bad (or you can sell it to recover the money...)

Of course One won't have as bad of a RRoD problem as 360, MS still denies the high failure rate of the 360, and never did release a 360 fat which included the two $0.50 clips which hold the motherboard fixing this problem. With the One, they have learnt how to cover up for mass failures even better. :-)...

I used to be a really big MS fan when I bought my 360, but after 2010 I've been slowly converting back to Sony. I just don't like the company they are becoming, and I think, by 2010, I used up all my 1 month XBLG cards from the dozen times I sent in my 360 to be fixed.
