    Alan Wake Review - Kotaku

in Microsoft Discussion, last active on on 05 May 2010

"I am open to the potential of the year's games, but I still can't imagine that Alan Wake will be topped in 2010. It tells a story that is engaging, and yes, emotional. It makes you care, it delivers scares. But most importantly it redefines interactive storytelling. More aptly put, Alan Wake finally delivers on a phrase so overused that it has become a joke." Sounds really good. I would buy a...

My thoughts. If you want the game so badly, get it on the Wii, or stop complaining about it. It might eventually get ported to PSN or XBLA, but rest assured that EA would much, much rather sell it as a standalone ($50) product on the Wii then port and upscale it to the other services to only charge $12 for it.  That being said, I can see why people are upset, it looks like it will be...

Places to buy US/NTSC games in Asia?

in Gaming Discussion, last active on on 12 March 2010

Hello everyone, I am currently living in Taiwan. I have a US version Wii. Until now, whenever I've wanted to purchase a game, I've either waited until I've gone back to visit home, or I've used Play-Asia. Now, I don't have any problems with Play-Asia's service, but their prices tend to stay quite high for long periods of time, and sometimes don't restock older titles, leading to them becoming...
