Dude, I knew what you meant the whole time. But me not being a graphics expert has nothing to do with whether I've played the games or not.

I'm just saying you made a foolish assumption, that's all.

If you knew what I meant the whole time then why'd you get your panties in a twist? Halo CE's graphical prowess was self-evident to all.

on 02 April 2012

My point is that your post was unnecessarily offensive and you know it.

on 02 April 2012

Oh boo hoo. I was floored by Halo 1 along with the rest of the world. The fact that you forgot about it told me you didn't play it. The alternative is that you somehow 'forgot' how grand it was. A little strange considering your avatar.

on 02 April 2012

Or that you were 8 years old when it came out.

on 02 April 2012

Dude, what the fuck is your problem? Halo:CE is one of the games I've played the most in my entire life yet you keep saying I've never played it or even forgotten about it? And I too was floored by it just lie I have said countless times in this forum.

Your ignorance makes me sick.

*like, not lie

I'm gonna add you randomly, because that seems to be the way people do around here. :P - Also, In general you seem like a nice guy based on the random sporadic conversations we have had on this board.

I gave you Portal2 for free even though I don't even know you, so you better think I'm a nice guy!
:-P

I wanted to click like on that comment :P - And yeah. That was pretty awesome.

I've noticed I like nearly all of your posts. You're one of my favorite members on here. We need to be friends!

Coolio :)

on 07 March 2012

Btw, I like your posts too. Apart from Conegamer and Andrespetmonkey (and they only qualify because they are so young), you make some of the most intelligent posts I've seen.

How ya been! I see the report below so I will not ask what you have been up to.

Pretty good - life is working out pretty well I would say... I see you're still keeping VGC's alive ;) How's life treating you?

on 31 January 2012

Decent. Actually it has been booming as of late with all the new users! Things are looking up and changes already coming.

on 31 January 2012

Are you actually employed by VGChartz!?

on 19 February 2012

(in reference to your post above)

No.

Haven't seen or heard from you in a while. Hope things are going okay for you.

Howdy :-)

Yeah, things are going pretty well in general.

I'm spending an exorbitant amount of my time researching and studying Graham Hancock's work about underwater cities and old civilizations.

Probably the most fascinating subject I've encountered.

How's it going there?

All the best!

on 26 January 2012

Good to hear you've got some new things to keep you occupied. :-)

I've been getting into a physical and mental routine and have been the most productive I've been since I finished uni last April.

Had a bit of a mis-step a little while back but things are picking up. I'm learning C# and .NET 4.0 from scratch and plan on moving onto XNA or WinMo 7 dev for a hobby after this. Still looking for work but if I keep at this pace of skill improvement it shouldn't be too far off.

Hope things keep going great for ya!

I'm learning to use GEANT4 (program from CERN). It's a struggle. The fact that I don't have any linux experience doesn't really make things easier.

on 19 February 2012

My Linux experience is pretty limited too. I just use Ubuntu as a nice distraction for time-wasting projects with no useful outcome.

Also, I was reading the Quantum Computing thread and was smacking my face until you started posting. Once again you've saved me the trouble of having to explain things. I can't believe so many people initially thought this was the answer to everything.

At the end of the day it's just a tool and it's human ingenuity that has to be put to use to return anything fruitful from its use. It won't cure cancer itself, it will only speed up the process of calculation (the grunt work) once someone figures out what needs to be done.

I also found your take on the funding of these projects pretty agreeable.

on 01 March 2012

I'm using Ubuntu as well.

Things are really looking good overall. If I just manage to work a little more diligently this year then the rest of my life is downhill... I'm kind of leaning towards the belief that a cataclysm will occur soon though, which will kind of nullify whatever was done this year.

Oh well.

There's this one country (I forgot the name and I'm too stoned and internet is also slow to look it up) where the 'happiness capita' is a criteria to be met in the constitution. So yeah, WHY are the resources in 'developed' countries spent in such a sinister proportion? It can't be right.

Half the people I meet nowadays are literally insane. The rest are either depressed, hyper-stressed or they manage to build a world of brands they pretend to be happy in. Anyway, of course there are nice people etc. But overall it really seems like the individual people on this planet are resembling cancerous sells in a diseased body.

Sorry for going 'new age' on you.

Can we assure someone a place in Heaven?

in General Discussion on 27 April 2012

Jumpin said:Heh, I think you'll find that what most Jews and Christians believe in is not actually supported by Judaism or Christianity =) I think one of the biggest issues with the Christian religion at least, is that people don't recognize the multiple traditions covered in the canon. So they follow what other thinkers have done in the past in attempts to reconcile all of these...
