Never heard of The Testament of Sherlock Holmes and looks like it will be a nice change of pace gaming wise after what I'm currently playing.

The game is very fun. The puzzles are challenging, but not frustrating and the story is amazing. It also took me around 15 hours to complete it, so it is a very good value. Let me know how you found it if you decide to pick it up.

Just ordered TTofSH on Amazon yesterday! I have LA Noir but never got around to playing it, it did not grab the attention of my sweetie. He is playing Metro 2033 and loves it ... in between our BL2 fun. You play so many games we love, and it made me really happy to see LOR: The War in the North on your list of fave's. Loved that game so much. Thanks for friending me!

No problems. Glad you enjoyed The War in the North. Tell me what you think of Sherlock Holmes when you get it.

Greetings from OR. Picked up the TTof SH and finished it over Thanksgiving. It was great! A first for me in this genre of games and the puzzles were fun and interesting without being super hard. I really liked the flow of the game and it had me sitting up straight towards the end ... then wow, what an awesome twist! Thanks for posting - would have totally gone under the radar for me otherwise. The graphics were pretty good too and I felt it was a respectful and accurate portrayal of the time period. Super fun to have a different gaming experience, I'll be sure to look out for the next.
Just started Hitman and the game is great, just the scoring system bugs me. Anyhow, it's pretty solid otherwise and looks amazing.

In comparison to Homecoming, how is Silent Hill Downpour?

It's much better in every way. I enjoyed Downpour for the semi-open Silent Hill, the creepy side-quests and some memorable moments in the main story. Nothing can beat 2 and 3 in my opinion, but it is a worthy sequel.

on 29 June 2012

Sounds good. I'll have to pick it up then. BTW I really liked The Room. That game got really creepy toward the end.

on 29 June 2012

I am almost ashamed to say I have not played The Room. I must get it for my PS2 soon. Don't hesitate to try Downpour. Really good.

on 29 June 2012

The room wasn't really a Silent Hill game, it was another game that was renamed toward the end of development, so the style is a little different. But it is extremely creepy.

I'll def make sure to pick up Downpour.

U need to make the Risen thread again because none of the 6 are accessible.

Thanks. Someone told me what was wrong with it. I'll try again later.

Deadly Premonition Directors Cut finally officially announced! New scenario, reworked graphics and control system, DLC expansions.

I have just started another playthrough on this amazing game on my 360. In all honesty, the first time I played it, it's was one of the best gaming experience of my gaming life. I don't find it bad at all. I never understood why people thought that. This game is not about the graphics, the shooting or the driving physics, it's about some serious messed up psychological fun. The soundtrack is...

I agree that it's one of the best game this year. I would have never guessed that my two favourite games from 2012 would be this and The Walking Dead. Both are amazing....

d21lewis said:There was a part early in the game where the sun was shining on the sand and my character was sliding down a hill or something--I thought to myself that it was the most beautiful game I'd ever seen. I didn't play much of it and, to be honest, I kinda forgot that the game even existed. Hopefully, I go back and play it one day. When I did play, I was paired up with somebody...
