So it's been a month in uni. How are you finding everything? I finally got a job and am near the end of my third week here. It's been a busy few weeks but incredibly rewarding. Hope all is going well, my first VGC twin.

Congrats on the job.

I've been busy with life and college. My gaming time has been extremely limited, and I don't have any of my gaming consoles at the moment. Just my PC, and handhelds.

thanks, man, sorry it took so long to get back to you, haha

How are studies going? Have you started? If not, when do you start? Seriously wishing you all the best man! University wasn't the greatest time for me but I know a ton of people who had an absolutely fantastic time.

First off, thanks for keeping me posted, and I appreciate the wishes. I'm gonna be pretty restricted when it comes to gaming time these days. Not to mention, I can only play on my PC for the time being, as I left my consoles at home. But it'll do.

Now then, about university...I don't start until March 12th. I'm also more or less fully registered...I just need to settle in this new apartment, and I'll then be all set to go. :-)

So what's the situation with the settling of school business? I've been gone since our last little exchange. Hope all is well.

Nothing has changed since then, man. =/

on 09 January 2012

Finally, it's all set! I can't wait to get out of here.

on 21 January 2012

That's great news man! I'm glad things are turning around. When can we expect you to be all settled into your new place? Your presence around here has been sorely lacking. All the best with the move and school though :-)

on 21 January 2012

Thanks, man. I'm leaving by the end of February. As for my lacking presence: Like I mentioned before, there hasn't been any interesting discussions with regards to gaming, and the ignorance in the off-topic sections makes my head hurt. That, and these days I have taken a break from many things, including gaming (though I still mod Bully: Scholarship Edition every now and then). I need to figure myself out, and take care of other priorities these days.

That said, when I finally leave to study in Malaysia, it should clear a lot of things off my mind, and depending on the level of college work, I may go back to my usual activity.

Uh-oh. I hope that you're just taking a break.

I moved out of the country, and had no internet for a while. That, and my hands are full these days, I'm afraid.

Frankly, there also hasn't been any interesting discussions on this website recently. How've you been?

on 09 January 2012

Well that's good to here. Not the fact that there are less interesting discussions part. :p Where did you move to?

I'm doing pretty well. I was just making sure that another quality member / friend wasn't leaving permanently.

on 10 January 2012

I'm in Jordan now. My family retired and are staying here permanently, but as for me, I'm gonna be leaving to Malaysia in mid-February if things go as planned (University).

on 10 January 2012

...and thanks, I appreciate the concern. :-) Good to know not everyone has forgotten about me. :-P

on 10 January 2012

Wow! You're all over the place. Good luck with everything.

Of course everyone hasn't forgotten about you. You are a very good member and underestimate yourself.

Is evolution based on empirical science?

in General Discussion on 25 March 2012

Paul said:These threads are such a waste of time. If someone can't be bothered to go through the vast amounts of research that has been done or is too dull to comprehend what it means, a few paragraphs in a video game forum definitely won't convince them. "and as far me not supporting a theory without concrete evidence even though the scientific community says otherwise? That's a...

Favourite Music: I'm not tied down to any genre. I handpick random songs. However, I detest mainstream music these days with a passion.

That said, most of my music falls under the metal category. I like old-school rap and hip-hop. But like I said before, I listen to anything (alternative, pop, disco, classical, house, trance, techno...even country)

Favourite Books: Romance of the Three Kingdoms, Of Mice and Men, The Good Earth, Fight Club...too many to list.

Favourite Food: Italian, Mexican, Indian, Arab, Turkish, BBQ, Persian, Chinese.

Pretty varied, and I'm always ready to try new food.

Hobbies: Wallowing in boredom.

About Me: I'm a nice guy.

Been a gamer since I was a little kid, thanks to my older brothers. They're also the reason I'm familiar with old games that most folks around my age don't know of.

Oh, and long live Nintendo, Sega, and Sony!
