Is Star Ocean TLHI a buy?

I've tried and tried but can not get myself to finish game. It's a grind to play through and some characters are just annoying as hell. Big decline from 3 if you ask me.

Nice to meet you. Lunar was one of my favorite PS1 titles. I remember getting it with the booklet and cloth map and spending hours playing it.

Hi Augen. Yeah I enjoyed it a lot and the package was great also. I kind of miss games like that nowadays. Your avatar keeps reminding me i need to get back on track... I keep postponing watching the series.

Hey, nice Avatar! I'm playing that game on PSP right now. I'm about 80% done, really loving it. Only drawback is that there are too many enemies, and it's too easy, but I love the old school style of JRPG gameplay, and while the story is simple, the characters are so well done. I like it.

    First-Person or Third-Person?

in Gaming Discussion 5 days ago

Third person all the way. I really dislike the first person view, it never gives me the view that my personal peripheral vision gives me and the movement on the screen annoys me quite a lot. The only games I managed to finish in 1st person were Far Cries. And even climbing those towers in 1st person... ridiculous. It's trying to be lifelike but fails miserably, imho. ...

Favourite Games: Mostly any Jrpg i find better than your random shooter, racer or platformer. And i've played all sorts but they just bore me to death or i suck greatly at them and can't be bothered to try harder.

My very first experience in Jrpg's, Final Fantasy 7 was a tremendous surprise to me and therefore ranks among my favorites.

Shadow hearts, Xenogears, Vagrant story and Xenosaga, FFX and FFIX and several others are among my favorites. I guess you can say i'm a Psx Jrpg fan... Parasite Eve, Grandia, Koudelka, Chrono Cross... etc.
