Just... explain to me one more time why free health care is bad? I mean, we Europeans have had it for decennia and it works great for us. Insurance companies are still competing and turning a profit. The quality of care in the EU is on average higher then the US (even higher if you only take the west of the EU) according to the WHO... What is so different in the US? Why wouldn't they be able to...

    It's the Final Countdown!!

in General Discussion on 20 March 2010

Mmm The final Countdown is such an awesome song. We used to constantly play this while on a skiing trip with friends during our high-school years. Prior to hitting the pistes, we'd play this, then sing the song while going up the lift......

    Job-choices

in General Discussion on 18 March 2010

I know what you mean Kasz. I am leaning to the consultant-job which is a lot more riskier. the problem is, the traineeship starts on april 1st and I have my interview probably at the start of next week so, afterhand chosing the safer job is not an option. I'd take a huge gamble by passing up the traineeship, then failing the final interview for the consultant role. I'm still pretty confident that...

    Job-choices

in General Discussion on 18 March 2010

Ever had that moment in your life when you knew: This choice will depend a lot about my future and I want to make the right one?!  I've come before such a point. I've been job-hunting for a steady job to go to after my studies. I've done a bachelor in Business-administration and a master in Management-consultancy. Now, I happen upon two awesome jobs at the same time, one I'm just hired on,...

You and me both ODC. I had an interview yesterday for an traineeship as project-controller and today for a junior business-consultant with a large firm. I have absolutely no idea how my conversation from today went... the girls in HR seemed to like me but the follow up interview by the senior manager was incredibly tough. I hope I did ok.I kinda put myself in a tough place though. I really want...

jstor is awesome but you have to be able to acces it through your schools subscription. Most large educational centres have acces though.I personally prefer scholar.google.com. UFC vs boxing

in General Discussion on 08 March 2010

I'm a boxer and I honestly don't care for this whole "MMA versus boxing" thing. Someone once said that:"Kickboxing (and thus basically MMA) is a savage sport performed by gentleman. Boxing is a gentlemans sport performed by savages". In other words, two different sides of sport.Anyone performing MMA anyway?...
