    Yes, when you visit the WII option menu and then the WII hardware option, you see in the top right screen the version. To update you simply go the the WII option screen, WII hardware options, scroll to something what's called WII hardware update, confirm and the rest goes automatically.Edit: don't know what happend but the update made my entire WII menu screen kind of hazy while my screen...

    Ey?? You're now able to use the Parent-control. Ha ha ha... good thing my mom is warned now. Shams with this you've got an official confirmation... the news is "true". -Digital Clock added to the Wii Menu right under the channel bar = check, it's there-Forecast Channel now displays the current condition (cloudy, raining, etc.) directly in the Wii Menu in the Forecast Channel...
