Wow, seems like only Soundwave is rational here. This isn't complicated: The iPhone X GPU already equaled the Switch's GPU. The iPhone XS is 1.5 faster. The iPad Pro GPU is 2x faster vs the XS (7 vs 4 cores, plus clock speed). That's a 3x performance bump vs the iPhone X from last year. That's about equal to an Xbox One. Everyone writing things, nobody responding to what he actually said. He said something completely non-controversial. He said it is tracking 8m, so 20m will be very hard to sell without a price drop. Tracking is a linear projection, and he's right. He never made a prediction for 8m sales, he said it is currently tracking 8m. He made no prediction. Just suggests that 20m is very unlikely....
