Handheld Consoles always felt like a compomised experience before the Nintendo Switch.

in Gaming Discussion on 28 March 2018

The vita was certainly compromised, but sony absolutely did not want to cannibalize any ps4 sales during it's war of domination against microsoft. I have a pstv which really is not bad. It's a shame it doesn't really have local multiplayer as that's what I mostly do nowadays....

Which Is A Bigger Threat To Humanity? Science Or Religion?

in General Discussion on 11 January 2018

Easy: religion posing as science. Germany, Russia and China were all "scientific" countries. They also happened to tally up well over 100 million murders amongst them.  A huge part of Marxism is religion of government.  If people have no soul, they are just genetic material and can be treated as such. Of course there is "evil" religion which actively tells its members to eliminate...

Left leaning ABC network cancels Last Man Standing.

in Politics Discussion on 12 May 2017

The "american" right is very different from a "european" right. It's much more libertarian. The nazi party was big into gun control, publicly run education, publicly run health care, access to abortion, pretty much all american left check boxes, and yes, very socialist. People on the US seem to forget that the Democratic party always stood for racism, segretation, etc. MLK was solidly a...

How Long Will PlayStation Vita Servers Run

in Sony Discussion on 14 February 2017

Sounds like there might be USB stick support coming very soon via henkaku to the PS Vita TV. A shame you can buy a 128GB usb stick for the price of an 8GB vita card. So if you can, find a psvita tv and stick your whole library on that, keep a subset on your portable....

    I got a PlayStation Vita!

in Sony Discussion on 25 January 2017

LivingMetal said: It's a nice piece of hardware. I have both the OLED VITA and PSTV. I'm more on the PSTV than the VITA because of playing on a 55" screen, but it's been one of my favorite "consoles." I love the rpgs for it and then some. I recently picked up a PSTV deluxe package myself.  I'm playing a 39" screen and the jaggies can be a bit distracting on that even. ...

Has a window opened for a new Playstation handheld?

in Sony Discussion on 25 January 2017

I think nintendo has made some small mistakes with the Switch which should allow a competitor some decent acces. Price and overconfigurability are the biggest ones. What sony needs to do is, like nintendo, focus on a in home gaming experience that can be taken portable, inside the home mainly but also on the road. A successful type console IMHO would be something like a PSVita2 (64bit ARM SOC,...

in Sales Discussion on 13 January 2008

If you could I'd like to see per month charts with the values per console:Estimated total software sales for that month / Estimated total consoles "in the wild"I think those charts would go a long way in proving you point....
