Did you ever write that LoD article?

It's going to be a part of the Forgotten Gems articles. Haven't yet written that one, but it's on the shortlist of games I'm going to be writing about.

Probably not going to be the next one since I've been alternating between Japanese and Western games, and I just wrote about ActRaiser on the previous one.

Shouldn't be too far off though.

Finally finished the next part of the Metal Gear retrospective. Should hopefully be up relatively soon.

Love to see you keeping this avy

No reason to change it really. It is one of the best games ever after all. I might swap one day, but don't really have any need to at the moment.

You better not!

on 26 April 2018

We'll see, but like I said, I'm in no rush to do so. I like my current one anyway.

Hey, how's everything going?

Good. Busy with university stuff, so haven't been able to write much for the site, but otherwise doing fine. How about you?

on 13 April 2018

Ah, I see. I've been fine myself, the school year is winding down here.

on 13 April 2018

It's the same here, I'm just finishing up the last few things and then I'm done with university completely after that.

on 13 April 2018

!! Nice Will you start to have more free time afterwards? Or will you still be busy?

on 13 April 2018

Summer should be more or less free, so unless something new comes up I should be able to write more stuff for the site.

on 13 April 2018

Well, that's good, but not just stuff for the site, hopefully you've got other things that you can get through as well! Like some games maybe.

on 13 April 2018

Yeah, I'm actually replaying Dark Souls II and Grandia at the moment.

< Darashiva updated his status:

Been horribly busy recently with real-life stuff, so haven't really been able to focus on writing any new articles for a while.

Things should be getting a bit less crowded soon, so hopefully I'll be able to continue the Metal Gear retrospective, as well as write a bunch of other stuff as well.

Qwark said: Nobody excited for Divinity 2 original sin? What is wrong with you guys one of the best RPG's of all time. I'd wager a guess that most people who care about games like that (For example, me), have either already bought the game on PC or are planning on buying it there. That genre is just typically associated with PC rather than consoles....

Nintendo Switch Online launching in the second half of September

in Nintendo Discussion 3 days ago

axumblade said: Darashiva said: That's one of my main issues there. Nintendo could put games from several different consoles on the service from the very beginning, but instead they are limiting it to just the NES for some baffling reason. I also don't really expect those 20 games to be anything out of the ordinary, just the same names that have been released countless times on...

Nintendo Switch Online launching in the second half of September

in Nintendo Discussion 3 days ago

axumblade said: Darashiva said: Honestly, I still don't think that the features on offer justify the price of the service. I know it's cheaper than the competition, but Nintendo isn't exactly providing a wealth of content or features on the service at launch. 20 NES games at launch is laughable considering the massive backlog of games that Nintendo alone has on offer. If this turns...

Favourite Games: Final Fantasy-series is my favourite, with FFIX being my favourite game of all time. I like JRPG's in general, but I play almost any kind of games regardless of the genre.

Favourite Music: Rock and metal music mostly. I listen to a lot of other music as well.

Favourite Books: A lot of different fantasy books.
Lord of the Rings. Books by David Eddings have always been favourites of mine. The Witcher-series. The Kingkiller Chronicles by Patrick Rothfuss. Too many others to list.

About Me: I'm currently studying at a university in order to become a teacher of English and history in Finland.

I'm also a lifelong gamer, having started playing video games when I was just 3 or 4 years old, when my uncle bought me an NES that came packaged with Super Mario Bros., Tetris and Nintendo World Cup, as well as 4 controllers and a multitap. Ever since then video games have been one of my most important hobbies.
