Sales continued to rise during the last recession, which took place early last generation, contrary to what one would think given how many people fell on hard times. Similarly, we had another...
I know the COMG is not indicative of the eventual performance of Switch games, but its so weird knowing that Switch is pretty much running away with Japan. COMG is a weird chart knowing that PS4, while having a lot of preorders and games on the chart, is almost obsolete compared to Switch considering how fast Switch outsold PS4 LTD in Japan and continues to have momentum heading into 2020. ...
I'm glad they were able to get Link to be more than just a costume Mario can get from a mushroom. There are a lot of gameplay opportunities for Link in this game. ...

Nintendo doesn't actually need to do anything given how well Switch and games are selling but it's really making the COMG look ugly right now. Business-wise: Everything is golden. COMG-wise: It looks like Nintendo...

That is if they have the time to act at all. The FTC is no danger at all here. The only issue is youtube's shitty algorithm for flagging kids content which could lead to demonetization for...

Not even Dragon Quest. Animal Crossing wont go near it either because it's a series that amounts a large debut. Then we consider just how long Pokemon has been doing this. It will be...
shikamaru317 said: So far the fans are thoroughly satisfied with it, user reviews are great on both Metacritic and PlayStation Store. Critics just can’t handle the fact that Yu Suzuki purposefully made the game outdated so that it wouldn’t feel incongruent with the first two Shenmue games. It’s a game for the existing fanbase, not a game designed to create new fans. I...

Because then, except an eventual new Pikmin, there is nothing left to attract new players who doesn't have already a Switch. That's not how console sales works. The 3DS had only Super Smash Bros. for 3DS left after Pokémon...
I think it would be a pretty big upset if Smash Bros. Ultimate won GOTY, which I am rooting for. Its weird to say that, but I think there are some good nominations here overall. I'm glad FE3H and Astral Chain are getting nominated in a category, but it would've been nice to see them in more than one each. ...

Though I don't know if the long-rumored D/P remakes are being made at this time to release next year. Even then, I don't know how they can manage the game releases...

So if Nintendo really wants to, they can demand from gamefreak to put more effort into the game then what they did. Nonetheless the games print money, so Nintendo probably will not ask them too. Im not sure...

The pop-in alone was a reason for me not to buy it. But appearently people are really happy with it here, so who am I too judge. I wonder if Nintendo is going to make pokémon an anual series now. Pokemon has mostly been an...

I would like to see Soul Calibur VI come to Switch and maybe see a Nintendo-exclusive character (i.e., BotW Link, Marth, Shulk, etc.). Hell, more fighting games would be nice. I know Samurai Shodown is coming, but there is opportunity for more. I can see King of Fighters (especially with Terry in Smash), Street Fighter (why do we have to ask Nintendo, Ono?), Tekken, Marvel vs. Capcom, and...
Boutros said: It feels almost pitiful, now that Pokemon, Persona 5 Royal, and even Death Stranding are now out. Outside of FFVII Remake and Project Sakura Wars, not much to look forward to until maybe Animal Crossing New Horizons comes along and attracts more casual gamers (especially women). I wonder how games like Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot, Cyberpunk 2077, and DOOM Eternal...

p0isonparadise said: Pokemon ended up getting 766 points. Using the same ratio as Let's Go Pikachu/Eevee, Sword/Shield would end up selling 1.8 million launch weekend. I'm expecting 1.5+ million at retail and 200-300k digital. That sounds pretty impressive all things considered. Would be interesting to see how much came from the Nintendo Online Store in Japan. ...
I'm glad The Witcher 3 is in the top 10 among best-selling Switch games for the month. With all the controversies behind Blizzard, I'm not sure what to think of Overwatch's ranking in the Switch's top 10... Its pretty cool that Ring Fit Adventure has caught on in the US, alongside Japan. The holidays will be interesting for that game, especially once the Switch garners a larger userbase around...
Great last day for Pokemon. And wow...it completely dwarfs Star Wars Jedi. I wonder how big the franchise is in Japan...? ...
It's not like Famitsu's scores have been questioned before... :P ...
