The Secret of Console War: Wii Exposed

in Gaming Discussion on 01 May 2008

Articles like this never fail to crack me up. Shovelware is a natural result of having the largest chunk of the market. The Atari 2600, NES, SNES, PS1 and PS2 all had a large percentage of games that were utter crap. I've been around long enough to know that shovelware is more an indication of success than it is a portent of doom. Truth be told, all systems have more crap games than good...

Is GTA IV being hailed because its not Nintendo

in Gaming Discussion on 30 April 2008

I doubt it's an anti-Nintendo conspiracy. Though it wouldn't suprise me if some review scores were based on wanting to see the long time champ unseated. Personally I doubt it deserves scores as high as it's getting. The question isn't whether or not it's a great game, but rather whether or not it's perfect. Hair colour: Brown

    Relationship status: Married

Favourite Games: Hmm, favorite game of all time would be a toss up between Goldeneye 007 and Smash Bros. Melee. Both of which will likely be unseated by Smash Bros. Brawl I'm sure.

Favourite Music: I like literally everything, except maybe polka...; I listen to metal the most though.

Favourite Films: Pulp Fiction is at the top followed by the Usual Suspects. I like pretty much any flick that's well done.

Favourite Books: Stephen King, Clive Barker, Garth Nix, Tolkien, Elmore Leanord, Robert Ludlum, the list is quite long.

Favourite Food: Pizza, I could eat it every day. Hell I did eat it every day for almost two years and I still love it.
