    Who already wants VGC 4.0?

in Website Topics on 01 June 2010

My issues, as i think with most in here is the hub, or all in one page, and how it is set up. If you do plan to make it customizable why not make a post saying so, and saying what possible options we will have. That would aleviate my worries and probably everyones elses.  We dont all have to time to surf endless pages for a few bits of info that we used to get on one page. I really miss...

    New Site Design

in Website Topics on 01 June 2010

I completely agree. I origanly came to this site( don't know how long ago, I'm a huge lurker and don't post much) because it was simple, easy to use and navigate, and had a wealth of information all in one spot. Now it feels like everyother gaming page that I dont go to. Oh well. I too will give it a shot, but i'm not holding out much hope i'll be coming here for much longer. Time to wait for the...

Hardcore Gamers are not Halo fans, casual gamers are.

in Gaming Discussion on 09 May 2010

I consider myself a hardcore gamer, and love fps second most (RTS for the win) and I think halo defines the kind of shooter i like, and nothing stands close to it. I have yet to find a run and gun shooter that is all balanced or flowing as all of the halo's are. but as with what you said, it is only an opinion and not fact. I have red faction, and did not care for it as much as halo, its like all...

Why Ad Blocking is devastating to the sites you love

in Website Topics on 06 March 2010

Why Ad Blocking is devastating to the sites you love

in Website Topics on 06 March 2010

I know you guys are talking about maybe implementing subscriptions for site (a free and premium content I believe) But what about an option where you can pay for no ads, maybe by the week or month. I have played internet based text games that have had a free version with ads, and then a premium version where the only difference was it had no ads....

Why Ad Blocking is devastating to the sites you love

in Website Topics on 06 March 2010

I will definatly do my part to PM you. What I see on alot of sites is a little link under ads that you can click if they cause problems. But if PMing you is the best way to do it I will. In the past I didnt know the best person to PM....

Why Ad Blocking is devastating to the sites you love

in Website Topics on 06 March 2010

Last time i checked its not my problem if your overwhelming revenue takes a small hit because i value my pc's health and maintaining my ISP bill. Honestly if sites want to start locking content...

Why Ad Blocking is devastating to the sites you love

in Website Topics on 06 March 2010

I haven't had a chance to read all of the posts, but I do agree with what the author says, but at the same time consumers (us viewing ads) need assurance that ads will not hurt our computers. And I know the staff here tries to do that but the only reason I got an ad blocker was because of this site. I caught at least one bad virus because of intrusive ads, and for awhile couldn't even visit here...

Developer: DVD is a problem, Blu Ray is better

in Microsoft Discussion on 21 February 2010

as a 360 owner I dont have any problems with it. I still have plenty of great games to play and enjoy. And I personally dont believe bluray will ever have the effect that dvd or cd had. There are too many competing options for movies and games for it to be a must have for people like dvd was. I personaly will probably never have a bluray device unless its a ps3 which I would buy for their...

Microsoft May Drop $200 Mil On Facebook Game Dev

in Microsoft Discussion on 15 February 2010

I think its smart, what better way to get casual flash computer gamers to become console gamers than to hook them on face book, and have a console game similar but more in depth than the flash ones they play of facebook. But if its worth 200 million, I dont know, I dont play those games so I have no idea what the userbase is, but I think some of us would be suprised....

why is it that the internet seems more flooded with ps3 gamerz?

in Gaming Discussion on 29 December 2009

Cause they are too busy playing good games /jkI've noticed this too, and I think its just that ps3 fans are more vocal, or already made up the base of these sites from the ps2 era....
