    It's possible that XBOX division requested $xxx millions to subsidise deals to take the usual top spot during the holidays, and all the marketing opportunities that com with that. However, that hasn't worked, and now it might be problematic to request more when the situation might not be winable this holiday. May just sit it out for now, rather then lose much more in an un-winable...

    Hmm. We get told over and over again that they can't adjust the PS sales numbers, even when Sony release figures, because they can only work on hard data.   So where are they getting the hard data for the MS consoles, that always seems to over track slightly?...

    This is silly. The Sony numbers include all consumer products in some years. So no doubt tv's, laptops, phone etc.   Wasn't the $2.8B loss in 2012 also with restructuring those divisions, and the TV business or something else being seperated into it's own entity?   Unless they all release figures just for the gaming divisions then it's not worth comparing....
