Buying a PSP Go!? Reccomendations needed!

in Sony Discussion on 26 May 2011

My recommendation is to simply buy a PSP 3000. Either that or just buy the 10 games directly and wait for the NGP. The PSP Go doesn't have any real benefits over the PSP 3000, and does have some signficant downsides. It is worth the extra money to not have to deal with the restrictions if you ask me....

Soleron said: Lack of LAN has screwed up a lot of live tournaments. Bnet has gone down at some point for most of the GSLs, and issues have plagued MLG and IEM. Now that seems odd to me. There was a promise from Blizzard to set-up hardware on site of big tournaments to be able to avoid any internet connection. Has that not happened, or did they change their mind?...

FT: Anonymous says Anonymous hacked PSN, despite Anonymous' denial

in Sony Discussion on 07 May 2011

NJ5 said:   Define "attacks Anonymous organizes". Suppose someone has sympathy towards some of the stuff Anonymous does. He/she attacks a server and leaves a file with Anonymous's slogan. Was the attack organized by Anonymous? The recent PSN DDoS, the Mastercard attacks, etc. You know the stuff someone releases press info on.I have been pretty clear on this. The exacts would be...

FT: Anonymous says Anonymous hacked PSN, despite Anonymous' denial

in Sony Discussion on 07 May 2011

NJ5 said: You say you tried to avoid the comparison. I think you should have tried harder, because it's simply ridiculous.   The name works between them, and there are some key members that over-see it all   This is one of the points where your comparison fails. So you are saying there is zero overlap at the top end between the various attacks Anonymous organizes? I don't mean to...

in Sony Discussion on 07 May 2011

richardhutnik said: What makes you think Anonymous isn't merely a label people wear and do things behind in order to accomplish their own person ends, and sometimes find others joining in.  As a label, no one is sure who is using it or not.  My understanding is this is as close of a description to what Anonymous is than anything else.  And it is tough to then say there is...

    Steam ID Thread

in PC Discussion on 07 May 2011

Things I hate: VGChartz search function; using google to search on a specific forum; remembering the exact title of a thread and who posted it on which forum and not getting it to show up on the first page of a google search. Things I love: Being right! http://gamrconnect.vgchartz.com/thread.php?id=14104 A lot of really old names there though. Best to keep this thread going. I only really linked...

Even official software can contain malware, ironically some of it has come from Sony itself in the form of a rootkit on audio CDs. I'm not playing semantics, I'm stating that something can't be an...

Those DDOS groups are not a real organization either, they're temporary in nature. Anyone can join or leave at any time without informing anyone else.
