Big Games I'm not sure I'll(and others) will like.

in Gaming Discussion on 07 January 2010

Slimebeast: I'm not bashing the 360, I LOVE my 360, in fact I'm positive Mass Effect 2 will be my all time favorite game when it comes out, not to mention Fable III and Splinter Cell. I own all the systems though. I was going to add another PS3 game to make it even but I couldn't figure out which, I thought of putting GOWIII on there, but that's only because I don't like GOW to begin with not...

Big Games I'm not sure I'll(and others) will like.

in Gaming Discussion on 07 January 2010

    1. Heavy Rain  -  this game looks brilliant and very interesting for a number of reasons, and I've been excited about it for a while now, but two things have been nagging at me about it.First the story, not saying it looks bad but it looks in movie terms to be a serious dark serial killer thriller/drama. As a film I probably wouldn't get into it, and escpecially if I was stuck in this...

Great Features in Games that need to be in more games.

in Gaming Discussion on 11 December 2009

CyborRazorCut: I agree, that feature is actually in the Professor Layton games, and it's awesome because I space out playing that game and recapping the story is just what I need to get me back into it. Even if it was just an option in the menu, that would be nice to see more off. Oh! and Dragon Age also does this to some extent with text on the loading screen, another game that its helpful in....

Great Features in Games that need to be in more games.

in Gaming Discussion on 11 December 2009

More and more were seeing games try new things and many of these ideas are making the whole experience awesome. So here is a list of stuff I've been noticing that I hope becomes the norm:   Perks/Skills : Now this is obviously already a mainstay of rpg games, whether your playing Fallout 3 or the more recent Borderlands and many others but in recent years we've been seeing them more often...

Does anyone here actually dislike Uncharted 2?

in Sony Discussion on 29 October 2009

I absolutely loved the game, it's a great game, with that said. I'll only complain about aspects of the gameplay. the puzzles didn't really feel like interesting puzzles to solve its more like matching whats in the drawings so It wasn't very cleaver on that end. And secondly I still hate the way they manage guns, I know lots of games only allow for two weapons, but still there are shotguns on the...

Vagabonds View: I just played through Flower. I have to say, I am blown away.

in Sony Discussion on 23 February 2009

I got it too, and it is amazing, I just thought the artistic style and the pace you flew around and the idea of nothing like a health bar, or repercussions to missing a flower or anything wasn't an issue, it was in the truest sense a game that is relaxing, and the controls and the way you float around is fun. Although my wife comes down stairs while I'm playing, and I'm thinking oh, she'll be...

Why is there no PS2 Originals service like on x360?

in Sony Discussion on 13 February 2009

I figured though that if they released them in bursts at a time like on the 360 they could make sure they work and package it with what ever software to simulate them on the systems that can't run them, being that with a download they can control and change the software. I don't know it just seems with the power of the ps3 its silly to not be able to do this. Also I have the system that can play...

Why is there no PS2 Originals service like on x360?

in Sony Discussion on 13 February 2009

I love the fact that I've been able to buy old xbox games and play off my 360 harddrive, and I keep checking the psn for a similiar feature, they have whole ps3 games downloable and there ps2 library is a billion times better then the xbox library why don't they have a similar feature? Plus some of the older classics niche titles are hard to find, being able to download them would be awesome....

in Sony Discussion on 09 February 2009

What's up with the Killzone 2 demo?

in Sony Discussion on 09 February 2009

I'm sorry if this was explained somewhere else already, but everyone keeps saying they played the demo, but I don't see it on PSN, is it just for people who preordered right now? If so are they opening it up to everyone soon? That kind of stinks if thats the case, I"m excited to play it but I hate gamestop and preordering in general....

in Sony Discussion on 30 November 2008

i have know idea what happened to my last post, but anyway. I'm really ticked off with LBP's online user created setup. I have a level I worked really hard on, post it 3 days after launch(as soon as the servers started working) I posted a youtube video of it(you can see below!) the video got over 6,000 hits, and was well received, and yet only about 50 people have tried my level. And I know my...

in Sony Discussion on 30 October 2008

numonex said: It looks great, but 12 hours is a long time to spend on creating a level in a game.   I would say the last 4 hours was fixing stuff, there is so much going on, and since it's physics based things can break on you. But I think for what's there I'm quite impressed with the tool set, one guy who didn't know what he was doing can make five solid minutes of gameplay in...

in Sony Discussion on 29 October 2008

Hawkeye said: It looks like you did a your level, but I have a concern with the game:is it highly customizable, accessible, and charming, yet lacking depth? I saw no power ups, few enemies, one running speed, ect. This wouldn't hurt the creation side, but it looks like the platforming itself might get boring after 50-75 hours.   for creation it's very customizable, I stuck to...
