New Mega Man game might not be 12; Kazuhiro Tsuchiya has outlined plans to keep the brand running for next 10-20 years.

I'm still hoping for a new Mega Man X title with 16-Bit style graphics. I'm hoping for something like that ever since Mega Man 9 was announced. =/ ...

    Favourite system startup sequence

in Gaming Discussion 4 days ago

Game Boy. It was just so satisfying. PS1 has to be a close second. And yes, the Gamecube also had a really cool startup sequence. I think there were even some cheatcodes or something to change the sequence a little. ...

Battletoads Gamescom Gameplay (Looks God Awful!)

in Microsoft Discussion on 21 August 2019

Kinda looks like some old crappy flash game from 2004 or something. You know, when Newgrounds was still a thing. I don't know, I don't want to judge too soon, I'll need to play it. But it really doesn't look too good. ...

    are you a true gamer?

in Gaming Discussion on 31 July 2019

I care about FPS, I don't care too much about graphics. For me it's all about the gameplay. And that is very much affected by FPS. The difference between 30 fps and 60 fps is friggin' huge. Games don't just look better with more fps, they also feel better. How a game looks doesn't affect gameplay at all. Final Fantasy 7 is still Final Fantasy 7, no matter if you play it on an old PS1 or on the...

Game engines you especially like/don't like

in Gaming Discussion on 22 May 2019

Mr Puggsly said: [...] Load times are actually a lot faster on the X1X, probably thanks to the superior CPU speed. Frankly, if you're gonna play UE4 games consider a premium console. I play those games on my laptop with an i7-7700HQ, 32 Gigs of RAM and a Samsung EVO 860 1TB SSD. The loading times are still getting on my nerves. ...

Game engines you especially like/don't like

in Gaming Discussion on 21 May 2019

I like the source engine. It's kinda old, but it was buttery smooth from the very beginning and the dev tools are a pleasure to use. I dislike Unreal Engine 4 with a passion. Working with it is really clunky and most, if not all games based on it have loading times from hell. ...

(Update) Rumor: PlayStation 5 will be using Navi 9 (more powerful than Navi 10), new update Jason Schreier said Sony aim more then 10,7 Teraflop

in Gaming Discussion on 18 March 2019

Screenshot said: OdinHades said: I don't think so. On PC video cards with 8 GB can already be a limiting factor at full HD. Those new consoles will want to push 4K textures and we're talking about shared memory here. So I think 24 GB is the minimum for a console to be somewhat relevant in the next 6 years or so. 32 GB would be better. Anything below that will be a serious...

Pretty much, 24GB is overkill anyway, any game pushing those kinds of assets will require much more overall oomph than a 500$ mainstream device can pull off any time soon. I don't think so. On...

Dark Souls is overrated, it simply isn't fun

in Gaming Discussion on 25 January 2019

Welp, it's not your cup of tea and that's perfectly ok. In the end it is always subjective if you like a certain game or not. I for example hate Bioshock with a passion and I don't care how many good reviews it got. I also friggin' love Final Fantasy XIII and couldn't care less about the fact that just about every other person on the planet hates the game. So don't worry about it. Just play...
