Adding a motion sensing controller would have been amazing for the PS2.... 2-3 years ago.

The reason PS2 and Wii are sharing games is because ignorant developers who didn't have the foresight to make games on the Wii who then saw it's popularity explode and then rushed to throw whatever they could on it. That's pretty easy to figure out.

At this point a PS2 motion sensing controller would have minimal success at best, not many developers would make games for it. And don't give me this crap the Wii and PS2 can produce the same Graphics, Wii's more powerful then GC which was FAR more capable then the PS2, anybody who doesn't know this needs to take a look back and read specs.

Last gen is relative, it's not amazingly powerful like PS3/xbox360 and I won't pretend it is, but it IS smaller and runs far more energy efficient on less power then "last gen" equipment. In addition it's marginally stronger then the last round of consoles, about the same margin of growth in EVERY generation prior to this one. At this point they'd have to put that controller on the PS3 and make it remarkably*coughripnintendooffagaincough* similar to the Wii's. Sorry normally I try to be fair an objectionable but some of the crap I'm reading spewed on this thread makes me sick... who the hell cares who's winning and who's competing with who or how...enjoy the games.. enjoy them all and you win.

The Wii is as powerful as the Xbox. The PS2 destroyed the Xbox. The Wiimote costs hardly anything to produce and is the only unique part of the console of worth to gaming.
