I played (most of) the campaign, and although it's not very long, I turned it off because it just wasn't very fun to play and I just kept going to get to the end :/

The good things, so much style, great sound, it looks amazing. Art's dream is like Fantasia 2000 with 2 decades worth of improvements. It is all a bit dark but I guess that's part of the style they choose for Art's dream. However it did not inspire me one bit to delve into the creation side of the game. Depth perception is a problem already on the play side of things, motion controls are annoying as usual, those two things already scare me away from even trying anything before psvr support is added. Of course things will need to be severely downgraded for VR, it already had some sub par frame rates on the pro in 2D. Plus one thing MM can never get right is movement. Still floaty, still annoying, no matter whether you're platforming, driving a car or in a 2D side scroller.

Yet I'm very curious to see what others have managed to create with this. Less chaotic stuff hopefully. more substance instead of style. You can see the potential this tool has, just a shame that MM couldn't make anything with it that's actually fun to play :/ I agree with Eurogamer on this one, Stylish, but is that it... (for Art's Dream) Not so much for the length but for the fun factor. My day one verdict: Impressed factor 11/10, fun factor 5/10.
