You still made the better choice, because your xbox reads any media from USB drives, and VLC and KODI read absolutely anything, the ps4 doesn't read almost anything I have, no FLAC, no ALAC, no HEVC, and subtitles on ps4 are dodgy too. I still do not understand how VLC is on xbox but not on ps4.
So if you enjoy gaming + movies and music, then the xbox was the wise choice. You know what other thing the ps4 doesn't do, it doesn't have backwards compatibility, so enjoy playing your 360 games in higher framerates and resolutions ;)
