https://www.pcgamer.com/ea-has-jacked-up-the-prices-of-lots-of-old-games-on-steam/
EA might be just returning to Steam after a long hiatus, but many of its older games have continued to be sold on the platform for years. Yesterday, Steam users started reporting that a significant number of them had jumped in price.

Cyberpunk RPG Gamedec reveals the first of its many virtual worlds
https://www.pcgamer.com/cyberpunk-rpg-gamedec-reveals-the-first-of-its-many-virtual-worlds/
Gamedec is a cyberpunk RPG where you play as a private detective solving crimes in virtual reality. Unraveling mysteries will require you to commit to some tough interrogation, collect evidence and, of course, a whole bunch of hacking. In Gamedec's first dev diary, we got to learn more about Low City and its seedy underbelly. In this new one, Anshar Studio reveals one of the virtual reality worlds you get to explore—Harvest Time.

The high-flying roguelite Scourgebringer has a gourmet pizza recipe in its EULA
https://www.pcgamer.com/the-high-flying-roguelite-scourgebringer-has-a-gourmet-pizza-recipe-in-its-eula/
Scourgebringer was one of the games that fell victim to issues with a Steam update in 2019 that was intended to improve the platform's recommendations but, according to some developers, had the exact opposite effect. Thomas Altenburger of developer Flying Oak Games said at the time that the change was "a catastrophe," and that "our game literally disappeared from most sources of recommendations."
It was a very big bump in the road, but work continued, as it does, and the "fast-paced free-moving roguelite platformer" is now out on Steam Early Access. The game tells the tale of a great, mysterious machine that's brought the Scourge to the world and has resisted all efforts to explore or communicate with it. So, as these things usually go, the job now falls to you, in the guise of Kyhra, the deadliest warrior of her clan, who enters the Scourgebringer with sword and gun to lay a beatdown on everything she sees.

Warcraft 3: Reforged launch was 'a hard week,' Blizzard president says
https://www.pcgamer.com/warcraft-3-reforged-launch-was-a-hard-week-blizzard-president-says/
The launch of Warcraft 3: Reforged in January was, and continues to be, a surprisingly ugly affair. It's one of the most beloved RTS games of all time, yet the release of its long-awaited remastered edition has inspired widespread outrage over everything from cut content to an EULA that lays exclusive claim to any and all mods and other content you may create for the game.

Broomstick League, the Qudditch take on Rocket League, releases next month
https://www.pcgamer.com/broomstick-league-the-qudditch-take-on-rocket-league-releases-next-month/
So, there's this game called Rocket League, which is all about futuristic cars playing soccer with an oversized futuristic ball. But what if, instead of futuristic cars, you had flying broomsticks? And what if, instead of an oversized futuristic ball, you had a large-ish fantastical orb? That's Broomstick League, which bears more than a passing resemblance to both Rocket League and Harry Potter's beloved Quidditch.

Fix a room, or ruin it, in charming freebie Trust Me, I Got This!
https://www.pcgamer.com/fix-a-room-or-ruin-it-in-charming-freebie-trust-me-i-got-this/
The funniest thing about this amusing, sweet, and handsome little browser game is the admission that it's "based on real-life events". I can picture the scene (mainly because I've just played it): a handyperson is asked to fix up a room full of damaged objects. But everything, oh god everything, just goes wrong.

Early Access RTS A Year of Rain has been put on hold
https://www.pcgamer.com/early-access-rts-a-year-of-rain-has-been-put-on-hold/
It's not a great time to be itching for a new real-time strategy diversion, unfortunately. There was the disappointing launch of Warcraft 3: Reforged last week, of course, and now intriguing co-op RTS A Year of Rain has been shelved, and the chances of it ever being returned to look slim.

Haunted PS1 Demo Disc is a free anthology of ominous oddities, out now
https://www.pcgamer.com/haunted-ps1-demo-disc-is-a-free-anthology-of-ominous-oddities-out-now/
Haunted PS1 Demo Disc isn't actually on a disc, nor does it contain any PS1 games. It's a collection of mostly—but not exclusively—horror games evocative of the '90s, complete with low-res textures, lots of fog and big ol' polygons. The collection can haunt your PC now, and it's free.
