I have "a PC". Always had "a PC" since the early 2000s. Would i need to upgrade if i wanted to play PS5 "exclusives"? Most prbly not, because with this step they'd have to ensure the lowest common denominator will run the games. Which in turn means devs will be restrained by the lowest common denominator. Which will be conventional PC hardware with mechanical hard drive. And that reads as Sony will be no different than MS dragging last gen hardware behind wasting resources who knows for how long instead of uncovering the true potential and take advantage of a new genuine hardware generation.
