That's something you are doing to yourself because you create a strict priority order in your mind.

"This is a game that has my full attention despite not releasing anytime soon."

Of course that's going to be a taxing experience because you are constantly waiting for something that won't occur anytime soon. The absence of news is predictable, but you keep clinging to unrealistic expectations and hopes.

Play more Picross. That keeps your mind healthy.

I can't help the games I feel excited for. Nintendo (and all game companies) just shouldn't announce games years out and then not supply a steady stream of new material in the lead up to release.
