Tbh I did like BOTW when I played it and beat it. I do think it's a little bit overrated. While I think the concept of being able to explore in a non-linear way in a western RPG like the open world is amazing, the game just didn't have enough for me to justify a GOAT game type category for me especially when previous Zelda games did certain things far better than BOTW. I miss the huge and challenging dungeons from previous Zelda games, the world also felt far too empty with barely any interesting villages or people, I do wish there was a better story as well. Overall I think it's still a good game like 8/10 but not GOAT game like everyone says it is.
