Though a lot of people won't appreciate the jump for a while. The early years of PS4/XBO there were many saying "Diminishing returns", "Not a generational leap!" etc.

Now looking at games like Horizon and God of War, the leap is massive.

I expect many will say the improvement with PS5/XBX is minor.

The leap is massive over the base XBox One and PS4, the CPU, GPU, SSD, Raytracing, etc; but as you said, it will take time to squeeze the new beasts and see the best from these machines.

  I really can't wait for february, and I'm smelling a more powerful PS5 VS XBox.  My two cents.
